Quaid Public Library

Quaid Public Library (QPL) is working under Department of Libraries, Islamabad and is one of the beautiful libraries which is located in the natural green environment at Fatima Jinnah Park. It is housed at Awan-e-Quaid Building, Near Mehran Gate, F-9 Park, Islamabad. Serving the residents of Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) with knowledge resources is the main objective of this library. Residents of Islamabad belonging to all walks of life can visit, get membership, read, borrow and demand any publication of their own choice, as per library rules.

QPL Services

Quaid Public Library provides following services keeping in view the cultural, ideological and social needs of the community or its users. Following services are being offered to its readers, visitors and members.

QPL Resources

The QPL has a rich collection of Books/Monographs acquired or collected from time to time keeping in view ideological, religious, cultural and social norms and needs of the General Public/visitors/readers and residents of Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT). All the Books/Monographs are systematically arranged in the shelves of the library building providing direct access to their readers/visitors.

QPL Membership

Membership of Islamabad Public Library is free of cost for the residents of Islamabad/Rawalpindi, but for the security those who wants to become a member and wants to borrow book will have to  pay Rs. 1000/- for the security which will be refundable.
